Maremmano a foglia

Description

This is the older version of the Maremmano of Scarperia. It has a more sinuous handle compared with the latest model and the blade has a typical spear shape with a blunt spine, which probably means it has a close relation to the traditional Roman knives of the eighteenth and nineteenth century. The old shape of this model requires a blade with a single cutting edge . It is a simple, robust knife suitable for all purposes.
